Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU A5E 48’s
Shift: Days / 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, Will also consider 36hrs
Length: 13 Weeks
Must be flexible with weekend requirements, weekend requirement will be based on unit needs. Travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract.
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

First Time Travelers AcceptedShift Requirements: 4×12 or 3×12*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.Certification Requirements: BCLS; ACLS PreferredSkillset Requirements: Cardiac PCU, Drips, Post Cath Lab, IV Starts, and Sheath PullsSkillset Preferences: Conscious Sedation and Telemetry, 2 years of nursing experience required.Staffing Ratios: 1:4Unit Information: IU Methodist’s A5East is a progressive care unit that focuses on the close monitoring of patients with cardiovascular diagnoses including, congestive heart failure, post- myocardial infarction, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congenital heart defects, and infective endocarditis along with a multitude of other co-morbidities.. We care for patient post-cath lab procedures, prior to LVAD placements or heart/lung transplants and pre- valve replace

Requirements:
- IN License
- 2 years of nursing experience required
- Cardiac PCU, Drips, Post Cath Lab, IV Starts, and Sheath Pulls
- BLS
- Conscious Sedation and Telemetry preferred
- ACLS preferred
- First Time Travelers Accepted
- Staffing Ratios: 1:4
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
