Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – CVICU/CCU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hours per week, Weekends as needed, First to float
Length:13 weeks

Requirements:

• WA license
• Must have 4-5 years of experience with PrismaFlex NXstage, IABP, Impella, ECMO and LVAD experience
• Must have 4-5 years of CVICU, CCU, or cardiac specific critical care experience
• Must have experience with temporary pacers – 50% of patients
• Must have experience caring for stroke patients
• Highly recommended to have experience with all of the following devices: Impella, IABP, CRRT, Prismaflex, Ventrics, ECMO, & LVADs.
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

• EMR : Cerner
• Floating Requirements anywhere in house, prioritize floating to progressive care: 1:3 ratios, neuro progressive care 1:3 ratios, Med Surg 1:5 ratios
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients Only have 1 ICU; Mixed diagnosis medical & surgical ICU, Heavy Cardiothoracic surgery, post-open hearts immediate post-op and POD 1-2, valves, PA caths, ECMO VV & VA, transvenous or epicardial pacers on 50% of patients. Multisystem organ failure, resp failure, renal failure, heart failure, vascular surgery, stroke, interventional neuro & transcatheter interventional patients, head bleeds, thrombectomies, Ventrics & lumbar drains. DKA, complex GI surgeries, liver failure, sepsis.
