Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER
Shift: Nights / 6p-6:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 8 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2 years experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- BSN preferred
- TNCC preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
8450 Night shift rotating weekends 36 hour/week. ACLS BLS PALS required. TNCC preferred. 1800 to 0630
The newly built emergency department operates with a physician on duty 24-hours a day and is designated as a level IV trauma center. Each year Adventist Health Ukiah Valley treats more than 25000 patients in its emergency room performs more than 5000 surgical procedures in its hospital based and ambulatory surgery center delivers nearly 850 babies and performs more than 43000 radiology tests.
Job Summary:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan coordinates care delivery and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patients situation.Collaborates with the team of patient family and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe healing humane and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients families and treatment team.Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:

If the department is designated as a trauma site the hours and expenses related to triage and treatment of trauma patients is included. However the hours and expenses related to the administration and support of the Trauma program and it’s services (i.e. Trauma registry trauma coordinators) should not be included here.
