Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele Acute Care Float Pool
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a (12×3) 36 hours per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
-Mgr. prefers to avoid travel pairs-Required Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH-Basic Prophecy exam must be passed*Limited time off requests allowed-2 years minimum experience, and at least 2 travel experiences beyond their initial hospital.-Teaching hospital and trauma hospital experience preferred.
Patient Ratio – 1:5Scrubs: No scrub color. You can use our blue scrubs or your own professional scrubs (any solid color).
Unit Population:The acute care float pool goes to all of the acute care and telemetry units. We are a level 1/teaching trauma hospital, stroke designated hospital that sees primarily adult patients. We see a wide range of patients from medicine, Neuro, Burn, orthopedic/surgical, to rehab. We have a cultural diverse patient population.. Experience with Ortho/ Neuro- Stroke, Cardiac Tele required ****
-Need to have 3s and 4s on skills checklist for telemetry, need strong Ortho and Neuro skills-Peripheral nerve catheters – high volume on ortho floors

- 2 years minimum experience, and at least 2 travel experiences beyond their initial hospital
- Ortho/ Neuro- Stroke, Cardiac Tele experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- Teaching hospital and trauma hospital experience preferred
- Must be Proficient in Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (there will be a test)
- Basic Prophecy exam must be passed
