Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PACU 6A

Shift: Variable D/E/N / 7:30a-7p, 1:30p-1a, 7p-7:30a (12×3) 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • OR License
  • 2 years experience
  • Experience in Adult or Peds Critical Care, ED, or Procedural Unit
  • ACLS
  • BLS
Other Details:
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
Variable shifts RN for South PACU – Days, Mids, Nights

3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
3×12-Hour (07:30 – 19:00)
3×12 – Hour (13:30 – 01:00)

Experience in Adult or Peds Critical Care, ED, or Procedural Unit
BCLS and ACLS required

South PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) is a 38-bay unit that provides 24/7 perianesthesia care to adult patients as well as some pediatric patients. Ambulatory, Acute Care, and Critical Care patients arriving from home, the emergency department, and from the inpatient setting are prepared for surgery and other procedures in the department. Patients are also recovered from anesthesia after their surgeries/procedures and transitioned to the inpatient setting or discharged home from 6A. The unit is staffed 24/7 and uses call to support nights, weekends, and holidays.
