Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW

Length: 8 weeks

Requirements:

  • GA License
  • 2 years experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS preferred
Other details:
  • 1st timers okay
  • Float Required (CPU; float to PCU and MS/Tele, but will only have 4 patients)
MSICU, 3, 12 (19:00-07:00) Nights
2 YR exp. needed.1ST timers okay!
Patient Age Group:-Pediatrics-Adults-Geriatrics
Schedule Requirements:-Float Required (CPU; float to PCU and MS/Tele, but will only have 4 patients)-Every other weekend coverage.
Medication System:-Omnicell
Documentation System:-EPIC
Patient Diagnoses:-Medical ICU and surgical ICU patients except cardiac, occ pedsPost code, post stroke, TPA, Resp failure, dialysis.
Certifications:-ACLS-BCLS-PALS (Preferred)
Skills:-Interpretation of dysrhythmias.-Management of dysrhythmias.-Care of ventilated patient.
Called Off-8 Rule: 8.00 hours per 2 week-10 Rule: 10.00 hours per 2 week-12 Rule: 12.00 hours per 2 weekComments:-8 hour shifts – incrementally up to 8 hours per 2 week period-10 hour shifts – incrementally up to 10 hours per 2 week period-12 hour shifts – incrementally up to 12 hours per 2 week period
Guaranteed Hours:-8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week-10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 weekComments:-3, 12 hour shifts – 36 hours-4, 12 hour shifts – 48 hours
