Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele 3W Neuro Acute
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p (12×3) 36 hours per week, EOW
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
Must have 2 years experience. Willing to look at first time travelers if they have strong neuro experience. Insulin Drips required.
Tele is Required** Must be Proficient in Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, **there will be a test**
Patient population:
Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Epilepsy patients. Traumatic brain injury, Craniotomy, Craniectomy, Aneurysm clipping and coiling, Spinal cord injury, Strokes, Seizure, Epilepsy, Change in mental status, Telemetry.
Will be required to float and must work every other weekend.
Required certification is BCLS and preferred NIH.
Required skills are IV start, telemetry and care for tracheostomy and preferred level 1 trauma.
Staffing ratios are 1/3-4 on days and 1/4-5 on nights.
EMR is Epic medication system is Pyxis.

- BLS
- NIH preferred
- EMR is Epic medication system is Pyxis
- Will be required to float
- Float pool goes to all of the acute care and telemetry units
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
