Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12×3) 36 hours per week
Length: 8 Weeks
6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule
Requirements:
1st timers okay2 years experience
Patient Age Group-Adults-Geriatrics
Float Required:-ICU. CPU; float to PCU and very rarely float down to MS/Tele but will only have 4 patients
Weekend Shifts:– 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule
Medication System:-Omnicell
Documentation System:-EPIC
Patient Diagnoses:-cardiac diagnosis including cardio thoracic surgical patients (travelers do not take fresh open heart patients)-There are 8 beds designated as cardiac progressive (stepdown) on this unit.-Nurse to Patient ratios in this area are 1:3-4.-All staff rotate days on Stepdown.
Certifications:-ACLS-BCLS-CCRN (Preferred)
Requirements:
MUST have 3s or 4s in the below skills on checklist to be a clinical PASS
-Interpretation of dysrhythmias-Management of dysrhythmias-Continuous IV sedation (Preferred)-Procedural Sedation Administration (Preferred)-Care of Ventilated Patient
Called Off-8 Rule: 8.00 hours per 2 week-10 Rule: 10.00 hours per 2 week-12 Rule: 12.00 hours per 2 week
Comments:-8 hour shifts – incrementally up to 8 hours per 2 week period-10 hour shifts – incrementally up to 10 hours per 2 week period-12 hour shifts – incrementally up to 12 hours per 2 week period
Guaranteed Hours:-8 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 week-10 Rule: 40.00 hours per 1 weekComments:-3, 12 hour shifts – 36 hours-4, 12 hour shifts – 48 hoursCOVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions OnlyFlu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown
