CPU; float to PCU and very rarely float down to MS/Tele but will only have 4 patients Weekend Shifts:– 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule Medication System:-Omnicell Documentation System:-EPIC Patient Diagnoses:-cardiac diagnosis including cardio thoracic surgical patients (travelers do not take fresh open heart patients)-There are 8 beds designated as cardiac progressive (stepdown) on this unit.-Nurse to Patient ratios in this area are 1:3-4.-All staff rotate days on Stepdown.
