Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – OR/Outpatient Surgery
Shift: Variable Days / Start between 6a-8a (8×5) 40 hours per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Must work On-Call for 2 weekend shifts and 5 weekday shifts within 6 week schedule.
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2 years of experience
- Acute or outpatient experience is accepted
- Need strong skills and experience working in fast pace environment
- Must have General Surgery experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Documentation System: Cerner
- Fast paced environment; NEEDS EMR experience verified
- High level experience really needs to be vetted
- No First-timers
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required + Booster – Medical/Religious Exemptions only
Shift: 5×8 variable days (start time between 0600 and 0800)
Must work On-Call for 2 weekend shifts and 5 weekday shifts within 6 week schedule.
First-timers accepted: No
Years of experience REQ: 2 years. acute or outpatient experience is accepted as long as the candidate has the required experience in the majority of the specialties
Call REQ: Yes 5 weekdays and 2 weekend days per 6 week schedule

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Minor surgical cases: ENT, Plastics, Gen Surgery, Opthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, Oncology – candidate should have the majority of the specialty experiences listed
Endoscopy: willing to train to endo if need be
GI & Pulmonary
Need strong skills and experience working in fast pace environment.
General Surgery – experience is a must have.
