Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Operating Room – Transplant, Heart, Vascular

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

Potential for weekend call only on one of our strong surgical areas

Requirements:

• WI or Compact License
• Must have completed 2 years of acute care experience within last 3 years
• Must have experience in transplant, vascular, and/or heart (3 or above).
• Must have experience in an Academic Level 1 – Trauma center or similar size hospital
• Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks)
• AHA BLS
• Experience with multiple service lines including traumas, transplant, cardiac and PV highly preferred

• EMR Used: EPIC
• Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler’s competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
• Involve the Operating Room multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the Operating Room in a timely manner.
• Communicate and coordinate OperatingRoom activities to facilitate efficiency in the surgical case progression and turnover between cases.
