We service a very high population of CHF patients that have comorbidities. SPECIAL PROCEDURES: Bedside cardio-version can occur with EP MD at bedside. We do cardiac drips and medication that require frequent vital sign monitoring but we do not titrate up without an MD order. We have found that candidates with previous cardiac step down/post procedure experience are most successful in a travel assignment on this unit. The unit is very fast pace with quick decompensation for our patients if not monitored carefully.
