Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU – Float Pool

Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, EOH, No on call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • SD License
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
  • Must have experience with titration of all drips
  • Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post Cardiac Cath), MI pharmacology, Heparin gtts
  • BSN required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

Other Details:

  • Charting System/Equipment: EPIC
  • Willing to float to MedSurg/Tele
  • Wil accept a first-time traveler, only if previous float pool experience and 2+ years experience, otherwise travel experience required
  • Travelers must live >100 miles away from the facility
  • This is a float pool position floating routinely between: Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Medical, Progressive Care Unit, Oncology, and Heart and Vascular – all units are mixed acuity and will have Intermediate to MedSurg level patient types
