Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU/Tele 5F
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
29 bed telemetry unit, is the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) primarily serving as an observation unit.
Primary patient population is cardiac, medicine, and pre/post cardiac procedures. Patients are predominantly placed from ED, Cath Lab, and direct admission that meet CDU criteria.
1 year exp with PCU/Tele
BLS, ACLS
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias• Management of dysrhythmias• O2 protocol management• Non-invasive airway management• Management of drips• Peripheral line care/management• Central line care/management• Blood product administration• Isolation precaution/PPE• Computerized documentation• Nurse to patient ratios 1:5• Rapid response team activation
