Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU – Oncology Progressive Care 48’s

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36 hrs, EOW, No call required

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • IN license
  • Minimum 1.5 years experience
  • Skillset Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing prots, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • OCN preferred

Floating RequiredMinimum Experience Required: 1.5 YearsStaffing Ratios: 1:4/5Unit Information:**THIS IS AN ACUITY ADAPTABLE UNIT**This 25 bed unit is committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care to all patients. On OPC, we utilize a team approach consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and unit support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of stable progressive care patients, patients with a diagnosis or history of cancer, end of life care, including Inpatient Hospice, and medical level of care. As part of the Oncology Progressive Care team, you will become chemotherapy trained and will have the opportunity to become an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN).
