Ideally we would like to have a candidate(s) that are credentialed to adminster chemo/immunotherapy medications. Any med/surg traveler can fill the vacancies but I would prefer to have someone that is able to administer chemotherapy.

Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Cancer diagnosis (including some chemotherapy), palliative/end of life care, general med/surg - wound care, IV antibiotics, renal/kidney injury, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, ortho/general/urology surgeries post operative
Any special procedure done on the unit? Bedside procedures completed by procedure teams
Common Medications used on the unit? IV antibiotics, IV chemotherapy, IV fluids/electrolytes, PO antihypertensive meds, PO electrolyte replacement, controlled substances - narcotics, benzodiazepines, other assorted medications to treat chronic medical conditions (i.e. inhalers, insulin and other anti-diabetics, etc.)
Common Equipment: Alaris pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, etc.
