SimpliFi Interview
General Information:
Beds: 11 beds (3 trauma ED beds, 1 behavioral seclusion room, 2 negative pressure rooms)
Minimum experience: 2 years
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types:
Neonates to Geriatrics
General ED patients to include, but not limited to: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Behavioral Health, etc.
Patient Ratios:
RN – 1:4 (variable upon patient acuity within department)
Tech – 1:11
Required Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC (preferred)
NRP (preferred)
Skills required:
Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity
EKGs, IV starts, familiarity with TNKase administration, nebulizer treatments, initiating Bipap, suture removal, assisting with casting, vent management
Support on the Unit:
RT is only on dayshift but can be called in for unstable patients as needed
ED Provider
Mid- level provider (hours vary)
Hospitalist, 24/7
House Supervisor
Receptionist, 24/7
Critical Care transport team assistance in ED
ED Techs
Traditional nursing staffing includes (2) 7a-7p, (2) 7p-7a, (2) 9a-9p, and (1) 10a-10p. ED tech hours 6a-4p, and 6p-4a
Charting System: FirstNet
Floating:
None
Orientation: (facility and unit)
Two days of hospital orientation (including time within the department on these days)
1 day with preceptor
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Every other
Call required? No call
Holiday Expectations: as needed

Scrub Color: Any color, professional; (hospital scrubs are available but not required)
