Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

This postiion will be providing care for patients in Triage, labor, delivery, nursery and postpartum. This position will also provide direct patient care to Women and Newborns in an acute care Obstetric setting. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers and guests as appropriate. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit. In addition, the RN must be able to interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures/guidelines.

Years of Experience: 2. IA or compact license BLS, ACLS, NRP 2 years experience
