JOB DESCRIPTION SimpliFi Interview Manager General Information: Number of Beds: 71 Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Travelers must have 2 years of critical experience (ER or ICU) with the most recent year in a level II trauma ER Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with at least 2 years of critical experience (ER or ICU) with the most recent year in a level II trauma ER. Patient Types: Multi System Trauma (level II), STEMI, STROKE, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatric Patient Ratios: 1:4 ER, 1:5 MS Holds, 1:3 ICU Holds Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI or similar, NIHSS; TNCC preferred Skills required: Trach care, vent care, ICU drip care and maintenance, chest tube, art line, CVL, picc, midline, port, foley, splint/Ortho device application and care, bipap/hiflow, continuous bladder irrigation Support on the Unit: CNA (Ratio): 1:12 Receptionist/HUC? Yes Charge nurse? Yes Phlebotomy? Yes, up to 0300 IV/VAT Team? Yes Hospitalist? Yes Telemetry monitoring tech: No Technology/Equipment: EMR: Cerner IV pumps: Plum 360 Medication dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Spacelabs Floating: If yes, where? No Orientation (#hrs/shifts): Travelers who are new to the facility or return travelers who have been gone for 1+ years will have 24 hours of classroom time and 24 hours on the unit Rehires: orientation will depend on last date here Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule On call? No Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy Holiday Expectations: This does not mean they will automatically be scheduled for those dates, but we will not contractually guarantee to being off prior to arrival.
