Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Position Description: 3W Cardiac Telemetry- Min 2yrs experience in specialty, 3 years RN experience required. Prior travel preferred. Ratio Nights 6:1, Days 5:1. Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: Drips – Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Nitro ( no titration); Phlebotomy - yes; Starting IVs- IV team , but night shift very limit resources; EKGs 7a-3p tech, but need to know how to do when patient has chest pain; Transports; 7a-7p. Scrub Navy, Epic EMR. Will float as needed to other like units. Every other weekend required. Manager to interview and offer. Required Upon Submission: BLS is required, ACLS preferred. Must have active MD/Compact license in packet at time of submission, no temp licenses allowed. COVID vaccine required. Medical Declination accepted. Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped. Required Upon Offer: NIHSS is required before starting. - Years of Experience: 2 - BLS - Active MD/Compact license in packet at time of submission, no temp licenses allowed - Facility is no longer accepting candidates within a 50-mile radius - RTO at time of submission (ANYTHING SENT AFTER SUBMISSION WILL NOT BE APPROVED) - Submission Packet must show # of beds, Trauma Level and EMR on their Work History or they will be dropped
