Downey Medical Center is a brand-new, modern 30-acre campus providing full-service care. This department provides triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting. If the department is designated as a trauma site, the hours and expenses related to triage and treatment of trauma patients is included. However, the hours and expenses related to the administration and support of the Trauma program and it's services (i.e. Trauma registry, trauma coordinators) should not be included here.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least one year Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience & in good standing.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Evidence of current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
