Travel L&D/OB RN is needed for 13 weeks in a facility in New Mexico. Shifts consist of 7-7, every other weekend and holiday. Call is very rare if at all here. Current NM or ccompact RN license is required. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN. Deliveries can range anywhere from 8 to 16 within a month. Because they are a smaller rural area, it varies weekly just depending on what might come in. Some days can be very busy and others can be very slow. There are 3 delivery rooms. We have four LDRP rooms, one triage room, well baby nursery. Some days can be very busy and others can be very slow. There are 3 delivery rooms. Charting system used is Allscripts. They use Centricity. They do have a Pharmacist and Pharmacy Tech who work on-site. I believe the Pharmacist’s take call at night. Pharmacists present during the day, on call at night. This need is for days but will consider nights if the traveler prefers. Nights and days. Scrubs can be any solid color. Print is acceptable so long as it isn’t considered offensive. Because they are a smaller facility and our volume is somewhat low, there are days where the traveler may be working as the only RN. He / She needs to have enough experience to feel comfortable in that type of roll. We are looking for someone who can perform, if needed, in OB / L & D and post-partum.
