Travel Medsurg/charge with possible float to ER RN is needed to start in a facility in North Dakota. ND or compact license is required. 2 years of experience is required. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, and TNCC. PALS is preferred. Shifts are rotating D/N -7-7, every other weekend or every 3rd weekend plus rotating holidays. Block scheduling is a possible option. Medsurg—25 beds but 16 of them are long term swing bed patients—The other 9 beds are inpatients, outpatients, and skilled swing bed. Nurse to Patient Ratios in each of your units – Telemetry, Medsurg—3 nurses staffed for approximately 19 to 20 patients (one nurse with several CNAs takes care of the 10- 14 LTC swing beds. Telemetry - Do you have telemetry on your unit or in your department? Yes we have 4 patient telemetries What brand are the monitors? Philips Do nurses have to read & interpret strips?
