Give Thanks!

It’s that time of year again. Thanksgiving is upon us and it’s 2022. Where did this year go? It has surely been a roller coaster of a year.

It’s time to be thankful. It’s so easy to get into the habit of complaining all the time, inflation, elections, racism, sexism, so much scary stuff in the news and in the world. But remember, there is so much good stuff too.

We live in a great country, divided as it may seem at this point in history. Still, we have so much to be thankful here in America.

So…let’s choose gratitude during this Thanksgiving. Choosing gratitude can change your life. I am thankful for my beautiful children and grandchildren. I am thankful for my health at my age. At my age of 65 I am losing people much more often than I could have ever imagined. Four lifelong friends in the last three months alone. And I’m sure this becomes more and more part of our lives as we age and our friends and family don’t have that luxury.

So, be happy! Enjoy your loved ones during this holiday season. Hug them all a little bit tighter. You never know what tomorrow may bring. Here’s to all our professional healthcare travelers and travel nurses. We are all very grateful for you and hope you have a nice Thanksgiving holiday and have some good times, good food and good company!

Happy Thanksgiving All!
