Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU – Observation 48’s

Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, Will do accept 36’s, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • OH License
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Must be familiar with intermediate medication gtts (ie: heparin, nitro, cardizem, insulin, etc)
  • Charge Experience Required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • Observation Medicine Experience – preferred

Other Details:

  • Charting: EPIC
  • Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele and Med Surg travelers will have all levels
  • First-timers accepted
  • No local travelers 50 miles or less
  • Float units: Neuro/ Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, Observation
  • Patient Diagnoses: Chest pain, Abdominal pain, Atrial Fibrillation, TIA, Anemia/GI Bleed, Dehydration/AKI, Syncope, Vertigo, COPD, Asthma, UTI/Pyelonephritis, Headache/Migraine, CHF, Seizure, Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Pancreatitis, Cellulitis,
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
