Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cath Lab Holding

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12×3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • OK License
  • 1 year cardiac tele skills required
  • ACLS, BCLS, NIH
  • Electronic Documentation preferred
  • Charting: EPIC – experience preferred

Guaranteed Hours: If confirmed to 3x12s, facility will guarantee a minimum of 36 hrs/week.If confirmed to 4x12s, facility will guarantee a minimum of 48hrs/week. Call off: facility may call off up to 24hrs for travelers confirmed to 8hr shifts, 30 hours for 10hr shifts, or 36hrs for 12hr shifts per 13-week assignment without paying for cancelled hours. If candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called-off, those hours will count as a called-off hours.
Special Requirements: Prep and recovery for cath lab and interventional radiology. Primary overnight patients are coronary interventions. Occasionally a patient from IR needs watched over night, but that is infrequent. At most they need to finish recovery to be discharged home beyond shift change. Special equipment space labs for bedside monitoring, ekg in department, needs to have competencies in puncture sights and be able to pull femoral arterial sheaths and manage compression devices for arterial punctures.
