Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Operating Room

Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p, 12×3, 36 hrs/week, Sat, Sun, Mon

Length: 13 weeks

Call Requirement: Call will be required: 2-8 hour shifts (11pm-7am) Mon-Fri ; One 24hr call shift Sat or Sun every 8 weeks depending on when coverage is needed

Requirements:

• NC license
• Minimum 2 years experience (2 years Operating Room recent OR Experience)
• Traveler Experience required (okay to SCREEN if no prior travel experience)
• Skills: Scrub and Circulate. Neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular or robotics
• BLS

• PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Need to have strong experience in at least 2 of these four specialties – neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular or robotics

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Experience (2 Years Operating Room recent OR Experience – do not screen applicants that have been out of the acute OR setting > 6 mo. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:**Specialties in order of priority. Must have 2-3 of the top four:1st – Neuro and Neuro Spine2nd – Ortho/Ortho Spine. (90% of our total joints have gone to Clemmons and we rarely do scopes, cuffs, ect)3rd – Vascular4th – Robotics5th – Urology6th – Podiatry7th – Oncology GYN8th – Misc. (we do a small amount of regular General, ENT, Plastics)
UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR, Staff Meetings, Communication Board
SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit schedules. This is a specific shift (Thurs, Sat, Sun schedule.)
UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours minimum of three days orientation not including Epic training
SCRUBS: Provided, Ceil Blue
