Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

8-10 procedures per day. Adults, geriatrics, and outpatient. On the unit tele. 1:1 procedure. EPIC EMR. Top Diagnoses/Procedures: Angiogram; Infusaport; Nephrostomy/Dialysis cathether placement; G tube placement, PICC lines; Neuro arteriogram + intervention; Pleurx cathethers; Peripheral interventions/thrombectomy; suprapubic catheters; percutaneous transhepatic biliary drain placement. Common Meds:Moderate sedation (versed & fentanyl); Heparin, Dopamine, Epinephrine Common Equip: EKOS, Plum pumps, Penumbra Must have exp with IV insert, PICC lines, A-line management, CVPs, sheaths, procedural sedation, CPAP, and BiPAP.
