About this Job As a NICU RN, you'll work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to provide care for newborns that are either sick or premature. NICU RNs specialize in medical care for newborns at a variety of levels, from intensive, life-saving measures to rehabilitation and nourishment, so you must be well-versed in infant care. NICU RN requirements Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure. They will get an ADDITIONAL 2-3 shifts of UNIT orientation for a total of 4/5 shifts. We'll begin with 4 and add an additional if necessary.
Will also accept: 18 months+ of experience (LTAC/Rehab okay) with at least 6 months of MedSurg (prefers MS to be recent)
Staff has to be gone for 3 months before returning as a traveler. From last shift worked to start date
Will be assigned a home unit on the first day of orientation.
