Compact Licenses for Travel Nurses

Compact Licensing was designed to give travel nurses the benefit of not having to worry about different licensure requirements for the state they want to work in. Most states are getting on board if they are not already.

As of September 2021 the following states are included when you get your Compact License:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Caroline, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

This means that you, as a travel nurse, can have one license that covers all of these states so licensing regulations will not longer be an issue. Of course, if there are issues, your agency can always help with this.

We are sure it won’t be too much longer before the other states join in because of the dire need for RN’s across the country. The demand continues to be critical for qualified professionals in facilities across the country. Let’s get your started if you haven’t already started your travel adventures. Just click here if you would like to find out more by filling out one quick and easy Request for more Info and we will put you in touch with the touch agencies across the United States today.
